This 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom 1,000 SF ADU was built in the large backyard of an existing single-family home in Solana Beach. The 1,000 SF ADU was thoughtfully designed to maximize indoor/outdoor living by connecting the main living areas of the ADU with its private backyard and side yard outdoor spaces. Two separate 10-foot-wide multi-slide doors open wide for maximal enjoyment of all the fresh air, light and cool ocean breeze in Solana Beach. Vaulted ceilings with exposed beams create a light and airy atmosphere in the living room and kitchen spaces. Professional interior design on this project is noticeable in all the fine details, finishes, fixtures, and hardware throughout the ADU.
